Directions

Dip: Thaw 8 ounces of Cool Whip and soften 8 ounces of cream cheese at room temperature. Using an electric hand mixer, whip the cream cheese until fluffy. Blend in the Pumpkin Pie Dessert Mix. Fold in the Cool Whip, then refrigerate until ready to serve.

For Cheesecake: Prepare the mixture as directed above and add 4 tablespoons of butter. Pour it into a ready-made pie crust and freeze.

Spread or Cheeseball: Mix the packet with 16 ounces of cream cheese and 4 tablespoons of butter. Form into a ball, roll in chopped nuts, and chill.

For a Butter Spread: Mix the packet with ½ cup of room-temperature butter.

Serving Ideas

Serve the dip with fresh fruit, pound cake, angel food cake, cookies, or graham crackers. Use the butter spread on toast, pancakes, waffles, biscuits, English muffins, or baked sweet potatoes.
